How To Register

Follow the steps below to register for GatorFlex Courses

1. Visit the GatorFlex registration portal to begin the registration process: https://flexreg.dce.ufl.edu/.
2. If you are a new student, click the Sign Up button to create an account. Returning students should select Log In.
3. Browse the available courses, then select the course you wish to enroll in.
4. On the course page, click Add Class to add the course to your Enrollment Form.
5. Complete the Student Consent Form.
6. Complete and submit the Enrollment Form. If you are claiming Florida residency for tuition purposes, upload the required documentation:
   
   • Two proofs of Florida residency
   • Florida Residency Declaration Form
7. Once your Enrollment Form is submitted, the GatorFlex team will review your enrollment request. If approved, you will receive a confirmation email (within 24 hours) with instructions for accessing your course. Please note that the 16-week completion window begins on the day the enrollment is approved.

GatorFlex Policies

Extension Policy

If a student has completed at least 50% of their coursework and has a documented extenuating circumstance, they may submit a request for an extension. All extension requests must be submitted in writing through the contact form or by emailing learn@dce.ufl.edu. Please note that approval of extension requests is at the discretion of the course instructor. 

If a student has not completed at least 50% of their coursework, or if the extension request is not approved, a failing grade (“E,” “E0,” or “E1”) will be assigned and reported to the UF Registrar.

Completion Policy

Students have a maximum of 16 weeks to complete their course. Students who wish to complete their coursework in fewer than 16 weeks should communicate with their instructors to determine an appropriate plan of action. A final grade will not be posted for students until they have been in the course for 6 weeks.
